Ingredients
  

  • 1 12 oz bag milk chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 11 oz bag soft caramels (such as Kraft)
  • 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups pretzels
  • Sea salt optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare the Baking Sheet

  • Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup and a smooth bark base.

Step 2: Melt the Chocolate

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.

Step 3: Create the Chocolate Base

  • Pour ¾ of the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly. Save the remaining chocolate for drizzling later.

Step 4: Add the Pretzels

  • Arrange the pretzels on top of the chocolate base in an even layer. Refrigerate for 10 minutes to allow it to set.

Step 5: Make the Caramel Layer

  • In another microwave-safe bowl, heat the soft caramels and heavy cream in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth and pourable.

Step 6: Layer the Caramel

  • Remove the sheet from the fridge and spread the caramel over the pretzels. Place it back in the refrigerator for 5 minutes to firm up.

Step 7: Drizzle with Chocolate

  • Reheat the reserved chocolate if needed, then drizzle it over the caramel layer. Sprinkle with sea salt for an extra flavor boost.

Step 8: Chill & Break

  • Refrigerate for another 5 minutes, then break into rustic pieces. Your chocolate bark with pretzels and caramel is ready to enjoy!
