Creamy Cottage Cheese Pasta Sauce
This easy pasta sauce recipe is a great way to add extra protein to your dish!

cottage cheese
1/4

water
1
handful fresh parsley
1
clove
garlic
minced

teaspoon
salt
or to taste

black pepper
1/2

dried basil
or a few fresh basil leaves
Instructions
Prepare the ingredients:
Wash and chop the parsley if using fresh parsley.
Mince the garlic.
Blend the sauce:
Add the cottage cheese, water, parsley, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and basil to a blender or food processor.
Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Adjust the consistency by adding a little more water if needed.
Heat the sauce (optional):
If you prefer a warm sauce, transfer the blended mixture to a small saucepan.
Heat over low-medium heat, stirring occasionally, until warmed through. Do not boil to prevent curdling.
Serve:
Cook your favorite pasta according to package instructions. Drain the pasta and place it in a large mixing bowl.
Pour the creamy cottage cheese sauce over the pasta and toss to coat evenly.
Serve immediately and garnish with extra parsley or grated Parmesan if desired.
