Ingredients

Steak

  • 1 ribeye steak I purchased mine on Grass Roots Farmers Co-Op
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Garlic fresh or garlic powder, to taste

Pasta

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta

Alfredo Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/2 Cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Steak

  • Season the ribeye generously with salt, pepper, and garlic. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 3–5 minutes per side, depending on thickness and desired doneness. Remove from heat, let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice into strips.

Step 2: Cook the Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.

Step 3: Make the Alfredo Sauce

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and milk, stirring gently. Let it simmer (not boil) for 3–4 minutes. Reduce heat and slowly stir in Parmesan and mozzarella until smooth and creamy.

Step 4: Assemble the Steak Alfredo

  • Add cooked fettuccine to the sauce and toss until coated. Use reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed. Top with sliced ribeye steak and freshly cracked black pepper.
