Notes

Tips for the Best Frosted Soft Sugar Cookies:

  • Chill the Dough – If your dough is too soft, refrigerate it for 15-20 minutes before shaping the cookies.
  • Don’t Overbake – The cookies should look slightly underbaked in the center when you take them out. They’ll firm up as they cool.
  • Use Room Temperature Ingredients – This ensures even mixing and a smoother dough.
  • Store Properly – Keep the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for a longer shelf life.
  • Make Ahead Friendly – You can prepare the dough in advance and freeze it for easy baking later!
