Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour heat-treated – see instructions below
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil melted
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp milk I used almond milk, but any milk works!
  • 1/4 – 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 6 oz chocolate melts I used almond bark for coating
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

  • Heat Treat Your Flour – To make the cookie dough safe to eat, heat the flour in the microwave for 90 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds to prevent burning. Let it cool completely.
  • Mix Wet Ingredients – In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the coconut oil. Stir in the vanilla extract, milk, and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Incorporate Dry Ingredients – Add the heat-treated flour and mix until a dough forms.
  • Fold in Chocolate Chips – Gently mix in your chocolate chips.
  • Shape the Dough – Roll the cookie dough into small balls and place them on a lined baking sheet. Freeze for 15 minutes to firm up.
  • Prepare the Chocolate Coating – In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate melts with 1 tsp coconut oil, stirring until smooth.
  • Coat & Decorate – Dip each cookie dough ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring full coverage. Place on parchment paper and immediately top with Halloween sprinkles.
  • Let Them Set – Allow the chocolate to harden at room temperature or in the fridge.
  • Enjoy! – Serve and enjoy these spooky, delicious bites!

Notes

Pro Tips:

  • Want extra crunch? Add crushed Oreos or sprinkles inside the dough.
  • Need a nut-free option? Use regular chocolate instead of almond bark.
  • Customize for any occasion! Swap the sprinkles to match any holiday or theme.
