Ingredients
  

  • 4 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • ½ Tbsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 10 cloves garlic minced
  • 5 Tbsp raw Manuka honey or any high-quality honey
  • 1 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce or coconut aminos for a gluten-free option
  • ¼ cup onion finely diced
  • 3 Tbsp chicken bone broth or water
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
  • Optional: ½ tsp red pepper flakes for heat
  • Garnish: Fresh chopped parsley or sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Ingredients – Start by mincing the garlic and finely dicing the onion.
  • Sauté the Aromatics – Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and onions, cooking until fragrant and slightly golden brown.
  • Cook the Chicken – Place the chicken thighs into the pan, arranging them in a single layer. Season with sea salt and black pepper.
  • Make the Sauce – In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and chicken bone broth.
  • Simmer to Perfection – Pour the sauce over the chicken. Let it cook on medium-high heat, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F). This should take about 25-30 minutes.
  • Reduce the Sauce – Allow the sauce to simmer until it thickens into a rich glaze, coating the chicken beautifully.
  • Add Some Spice (Optional) – If you like a little heat, sprinkle in red pepper flakes before serving.
  • Garnish & Serve – Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or sesame seeds. Pair it with steamed rice, roasted veggies, or a fresh salad for a complete meal!
