Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb salmon fillet skin removed and cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce or tamari for gluten-free option
  • 1 tbsp date syrup or maple syrup for alternative sweetness
  • ½ tbsp minced garlic
  • ½ tbsp sesame oil
  • ¼ tsp salt adjust to taste
  • ½ tsp black pepper optional, for a hint of spice
  • ½ tsp sesame seeds for garnish
  • Chopped green onions optional, for garnish
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes optional, for a slight kick
  • ½ tsp lemon juice optional, for added brightness

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, date syrup, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add sesame oil.
  • Add salmon cubes to the skillet and pour the marinade over them.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked to your desired doneness.
  • Drizzle with lemon juice for added freshness.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
