When I mixed the dry and the wet ingredients, the mixture didn’t congeal into dough and stayed crumbly. I had to double the amount of butter to get the cookies to stay in a ball. The cookies then didn’t flatten when I put them in the oven, and I had to cook for 30 minutes instead of 10

    1. Sorry to hear you had trouble making these. Some things that come to mind: was the butter softened at room temperature? This will help when creaming the coconut sugar and blending the other ingredients. Also, these cookie are thicker/cakey compared to my other recipes. So you will need to flatten them with your palm before baking. Make sure you are scraping the bowl when mixing. Sometimes itโ€™s little things like that can cause some troubles. I hope this helps a bit.
